This was one of the first songs I wrote. It's called "Father of Many."
When I was younger than I am now, I would sit on the eastern edge of New York City looking out over the East River and the up at the sky. It was here that I first came out of the closet to my friends and family, and it was also here that I started to believe in God. When I would look at the sky and consider eternity, I started to think that maybe someone was looking back at me.

"Father of Many" Lyrics:
With tears in his eyes he looks to the infinite sky
He hears a voice say, "there is no need to hide
You have wandered far
May I see those scars
How'd you like to see them shine like stars
See there is man from long ago
Who heard my voice and followed home
To a land where living waters flow
A land I'd like to show you
Take my hand; I am with you
Now here is where this story begins
An unnamed boy's been marred by sin
Alone and clothed in garments of skin
He's learned he is frail
He in and exhales
And wonders what lies behind the veil
As he looks out on the endless shore
He can't help but hope there is more
He lifts his eyes and opens up the door
The infinite sky looks into his infinite eyes
And whispers 'my boy, come to other side
Just beyond the stars
Is never that far
Close your eyes in mine see who you are
As you cross the desert and the sea
Remove the sandals from your feet
Feel the sand, so shall your siblings be
Come receive your crown
I won't let you drown
As you run learn to lay your life down
Hear your mother laugh at what's to come
For though your journeys just begun
Your family's waiting for you my son'"
